Introducing Joseph Orzal — our newest Vagabond.
Born and raised in the Northeast Quadrant of Chocolate City, Jorzal got his local arts education at the famed Duke Ellington School of the Arts, before getting kicked out of the Savannah College of Art and Design and graduating from Corcoran College of Art + Design — where he also currently works as
the Presidentan A/V technician at the associated Corcoran Gallery of Art.
An emerging visual artist in his own right, his work has been among the most prolific art coming out of Northeast in the past year — having been on exhibition at underground shows like Hipster Deathtrap at Hole In The Sky (October 2010), The Illmatic Show at Cre8 SpaceStudioGallery (January 2011), and the THAT’S US/WILD COMBINATION pop-up show at Primal Fitness (March 2011). His work will next be seen at the BUTISITART? DIY contemporary art fair from September 22–25.
Jorzal joins Chief Conspirator Josef Palermo in curating the next VESTIBULE this fall in connection to #DCRESIDENCE @DCWEEK. Holla.
